    The Conductors Club of New York is an association of male chorus conductors and singers founded in 1934. 

What We Do
 

 
advance the cause of worthy male choral singing
    raise the standard of musical performances  
    provide members with the opportunity for meeting and discussing music-related topics  
    advance the musical and artistic affairs of the Associated Male Choruses of America  
    furnish conductors for concerts and choruses  
    commission pieces by composers and arrangers  
  publicize member clubs and exchange information

Recital   It has been the tradition of the club to sponsor  recitals for  young singers.  Recitals are presented following  the club's meetings in Manhattan.

Membership
Regular  Conductors of male choruses; the chorus must perform a minimum of twice yearly in New York State.
Associate  Singers in male choruses,
accompanists, and others connected with male choral singing.

Membership is open to both men and women.

More than one member of a choral organization may join the Conductors Club, including anyone who has a keen interest in male choral singing.  

Regular members need not reside in New York State, but the chorus with which he or she is associated must perform within the state.

The Conductors Club meets four Saturdays each year in September, November, March, and May, at the SSMA Club in Manhattan
(Soldiers', Sailors', Marines', and Airmen's Club, 283 Lexington Avenue, between 36th and 37th streets. There is an additional meeting upstate every second year (in September) held near Kingston, New York.  

Members must attend a minimum of two meetings per year in order to maintain membership and be eligible for club benefits. 

Officers are elected for one year at an annual meeting in March from among the membership. 

Dues: $10 for the fiscal year, normally payable each fall or upon acceptance to the club.
